Gravity Forged
Hybrid calisthenics and personal training Cornwall.
About me
I’m Jack, founder of Gravity Forged
I believe training should enrich our lives through bringing greater ease to day to day life and increasing our capacity to do the things we love. I grew up in North Cornwall surfing since 6 years old, being active has always been a huge part of my life. Based now in Newquay, I’m still surfing 25 years later among other sporting hobbies I’ve developed along the way.
In my adult years I have ventured into rock climbing alongside pursuing advanced calisthenics skills. Through calisthenics and climbing, I built a strong foundation of body control, mobility, relative strength, and athleticism that carried over into all of my physical pursuits and complimented my active lifestyle.
Over time, I began incorporating more gym-based training and strength work alongside my calisthenics training and developed a real appreciation for physique development. The progress I experienced – both physically and athletically – through my hybridized training approach ultimately shaped my coaching philosophy.

Creating lasting change
My Mission
I created Gravity Forged out of desire to share my love for exercise, centred around the belief that you don’t need endless machines, complicated methods, or gimmicks to facilitate change.
What you need is consistency, and the willingness to put in the work on the right plan. Training should improve more than appearance alone. It should build confidence, movement quality, physical capability, and long-term health while creating sustainable progress that compliments your lifestyle. True wellbeing doesn’t come from fad diets or ‘get shredded in 6 weeks’ programs. It comes from cultivating better habits in daily life and developing a healthy relationship with exercise one step at a time.
My coaching focuses on mastering fundamentals, progressing intelligently, and building strength that carries over both inside and outside the gym; all whilst having fun doing so – I want you to come to love training as much as I do!
